Raccoon
Robert Lowrie
Robert "Raccoon" Lowrie grew up in San Jose, California, where his passion for the sport was ignited. An enpassioned fan of the San Jose Sharks, he fell in love with the game while playing goalie. However, his path on the ice took a different turn when he joined the Zombies and skated out, embracing the role of winger, along side Special-K. The pair became the bedrock of L2.
Known for his relentless determination and knack for scoring "garbage goals," Robert quickly earned the endearing nickname "Raccoon" among his teammates and fans alike. Despite this somewhat unconventional style, he proved his worth and within a season, was voted as an alternate captain, demonstrating his leadership qualities and earning the respect of his peers.
Beyond his on-ice contributions, Robert has always believed in giving back to the community that nurtured his passion for hockey. In an effort to inspire others and share his love for the sport, he organized a highly successful fundraiser to supply hockey equipment to local schools. His selflessness and commitment to growing the game have made him a beloved figure in the local hockey community.
Robert's off-ice efforts were recently recognized when he was awarded the prestigious "Team Snoopy Award for Teamwork, Kindness, and Heart" by "Snoopy's Home Ice." This accolade celebrates his exceptional character, emphasizing his dedication to teamwork, his kindness towards others, and the genuine passion he brings to everything he does.
With his infectious enthusiasm, unwavering determination, and a deep-rooted love for the game, Robert "Raccoon" Lowrie continues to inspire both his teammates and fans. As he dons his jersey and steps onto the ice, he leaves an indelible mark as a player who embodies the true spirit of hockey and serves as a beacon of sportsmanship and community involvement.
